The South Kohala Community Development Plan Action Committee, Kawaihae Sub-committee will meet at 5 p.m. Monday at Puukohola Heiau National Historic Site. The public is invited to hear Na Ala Kahakai’s Aric Arakaki’s update on Ala Kahakai trail planning along the Kawaihae Harbor fence line and learn how this ties in with South Kohala Traffic Safety Committee issues regarding bikers, vehicles and canoe paddlers. Underground power lines through Kawaihae, the Historic Corridor and Hawaii County Culture Commission discussion are also on the agenda.
